Vent-Rite #1 Air Radiator Vent Valve with adjustable vent found under the steam path. The valve has a 1/8″ male connection and a 3/32″ vent port. Operating pressure is up to 3 PSI maximum, the vent valve can allow slightly higher pressure as long as the pressure decreases and lesser than the operating pressure between each ring cycle. Applicable for free standing radiators.The Vent-Rite Valves operate in a positive action manner and straight-line venting. The internal parts are made of brass and nickel-plated & polished exterior. Provides fast response and uniform heat distribution to the radiator. Controlled venting is necessary to balance the radiation. During temperature change, the vent will automatically vent the air by continually opening and closing in maximum operating pressure. Safe to use that in an unexpected situation, the vent port will be automatically closed and filled with water.Vent-Rite Valves replaces the Dole #1A and Hoffman #1A vents.
